This annual international Summer School strives for strengthening the scientific knowledge base of young researchers in advanced materials design with a strong connection to excellent research infrastructures. The focal theme for 2022 is X-rays and Neutrons for a Sustainable Future - Advanced Materials, Climate Crisis, Human Health.

In addition to the scientific programme, which you can see here  on this RÅC webpage, there will be the possibility to make study visits e.g. to the Ringhalls nuclear power stations.

This event was origionally organised by RACIRI, a joint initiative by Sweden, Russia and Germany. However, due to the current geo-political circumstances, this event will now be organised by Swedish and German institutions and renamed the Röntgen-Ångström Cluster (RÅC) International Summer School 2022.
