The Swedish Materials Science beamline at PETRA III is funded by the Swedish Research Council (VR) to meet a well-identified strategic need for world-class research infrastructure.
As Swedish research evolves, so too do the requirements for infrastructure. VR therefore makes inventory calls every two years to capture new and updated needs. The outcomes of these inventories guide future targeted funding calls for research infrastructures.
By 3 November, a renewed case for the Swedish Materials Science beamline ought to be submitted to this upcoming inventory call .
